2 Corinthians 9:6-15

God loves a cheerful giver.  The graciousness with which we give gifts is also represented of the freedom and not the obligation to do so.  When we are free to give and are not made to, we can be more cheerful.  When we are free, we are to be a blessing as we too have also been blest.  We do not need to be afraid about our generosity, as God is generous to us, giving freely and is able to provide for our needs.

God demonstrate the greatest generosity by giving up His Son for us.  Cheerful generosity is not about that he have but who we are.  It defines our character.  When we share God’s blessing, we produce a greater thanksgiving to God.

When we are generous God is honored and his name is magnified.  We all can give thanks to for his most generous and inexpressible gift of His Son.  When we are freed from the debt of sin, we are free to live from a place of grace and generosity.  Are you a cheerful giver?
